The eighth edition of “Prishtina Trails,” the largest trail-running race in Kosovo, was successfully held in Gërmia Park in Prishtina, bringing together around 500 runners from more than 20 countries. All race routes started and finished in the heart of Gërmia, highlighting the natural beauty of the capital’s protected landscape and promoting the “Gërmia pa kerre” initiative.
In the main 50 km race, the winners were Erzen Zyberaj (KOS) and Margot Navarro (FRA). In the 23 km race, Stella Zinn (SUI) and Albion Ymeri (KOS) claimed victory, while Litfete Luta Shala (KOS) and Mikus Zagata (AUT) won the 10 km distance. Organizers described the event as another important step in promoting outdoor sports, environmental awareness, and active lifestyles in Kosovo.
Beyond the main races, around 300 children participated in the kids’ run, adding a strong family and community spirit to the event. Organizers also highlighted their sustainability efforts, with this year’s medals produced from recycled plastic bottle caps in partnership with “DYVO Lab.”
“Prishtina Trails” continues to grow every year, with registration spots sold out a month before race day, confirming its status as Kosovo’s leading trail-running event.
See you again in MAY 2027.
